Jaipur City Tour & Travel is a small tour operator a kilometre from Jaipur Junction. The owner drives the tuk-tuk. The phone is answered at two in the morning. And 134 guests from four continents have taken the time to write about it.
The reviews keep using the same three words — honest, punctual, family. We did not write them; the guests did, in thirteen languages, between October 2022 and this summer.
The business is Gulzar Bhatti’s. His green-and-yellow auto-rickshaw is the vehicle most guests remember: open on both sides, small enough for the bazaar lanes, stopping wherever you point. Around it is a small fleet of white sedans and Innovas with drivers — Jitendra, Rahul, Jerold — for the hill forts, the airport runs and the day trips to Agra, Ajmer–Pushkar and Ranthambore.
Two habits define the company. The first is the clock: a city tour is a sequence of hours, and the only way to have Amer to yourself or the sun on Hawa Mahal’s honeycomb is to be at the gate when it opens. Pickups in our reviews are described as early, exact and unhurried. The second is the wallet: we are not paid by any shop. The emporiums on the Amer road pay drivers to stop; we drive past them, tell you the real price at each ticket counter, and take you to eat where we eat.
The rest is what guests describe as being treated like family — lending a stranded traveller the bus fare to Delhi, teaching the Hindi you need for the week, collecting a couple from a train at two in the morning and being back at the agreed hour the next day. We are open twenty-four hours because trains and flights are.

We booked 2 Innovas and the experience was great. The drivers were easy going. There was no billing issue. Transparency was there. The cars albeit old were in well maintained and clean condition. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a rental car.

I'm from Colombia, and my French wife and I traveled to Jaipur. Gulzar is an amazing guide and, above all, an amazing person. He took us to the best places in Jaipur, such as historical monuments, artisan shops, and restaurants. These weren't the typical tourist spots, but rather places where we could connect with wonderful local people.
We had a fantastic driver, Jerold, who spoke brilliant English and took us to the Amer Fort for a short afternoon trip. He drove well, and told us many interesting things about his culture and traditions, as well as some facts about the places we visited. Would definitely recommend a trip with Jerold!
